What does the word, "superfood" mean?  To us, it means a heavy dose of some or all of the following: vitamins, minerals, protein, fiber,  and omega fatty acids. And, even more importantly, it can be ingested AND used on the skin - nourishing from the outside, and nourishing from the inside as well.

One of our favorite "superfoods" is Moringa. It actually dates back 2000 BC in Northern India, where the plant was used for over 300 conditions as a medicinal herb. It is referred to as the Miracle Tree. That intrigued us, and we had to try it. We now use it in our serum, lotion, and hair conditioner. We also put it in our "Power Smoothies!"

We discovered that it can minimize the appearance of fine wrinkles, improves moisture and smoothness, is anti-inflammatory, helps build collagen, is a natural healing emollient, and can actually help heal eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis. And that is just on the skin! We also discovered that using it on the hair and scalp not only prevents split ends but helps encourage scalp circulation - meaning, less hair loss!

Of course, we learned that the plant has many health benefits when ingested. We began using the powder in our smoothies as well!

A simple recipe that we use for our smoothies:

2 Cups Almond Milk

2 Tbs. natural peanut butter

1 frozen banana

1 Tbs. cocoa powder

2 servings Moringa Powder

1 Tbs chia seeds

2 Tbs honey

1 pinch sea salt

Blend well in a high speed blender.  Serves 2

While we can't make smoothies to order, we can share our amazing Serum, Lotion, and hair Conditioner with you. "The proof is in the pudding," as they say. Try it for yourself, and see how our products make you look and feel. Check out our testimonials as well.

All our products are made with love and care - always. Feel the difference!
